Our Fresh Sourdough Bread is available is Swamp Rabbit Café and Grocery every Monday!

You can also find us every Saturday at the Greenville State Farmers Market (except 4/27), and the last Saturday of every Month at The Whale GVL. Also, once MacGregor Orchard opens for the season, our bread and cookies will be available every Thursday and Saturday.

We appreciate your interest in Travelers Baking. We’re slowly ramping up our business, so we appreciate your patience as we grow. Travelers Baking Company is less a company, and more a partnership between Sara and Brian. Married for 18 years in June, we began baking bread while living in Ketchikan Alaska in 2009. The winters were wet and dark, and we were always looking for an excuse to fire up the oven. Over the years, our appreciation for fresh baked bread has grown, and we look forward to sharing our breads, pretzels and baked goods with our neighbors.

We’ve been fortunate to work and live in many places, but South Carolina has long been our home.

We value simple and nutritious breads, Sourdough Pretzels and Breakfast cookies. Rustic and hearty. Ingredients always sourced ethically, while being sourced locally and organically when possible. Naturally leavened over 18 hours. Every items shaped and nurtured by hand.

The spring of 2024 is bringing some exciting changes to our little bakery. We’re now available at Swamp Rabbit Café and Grocery, and we are truly grateful for their support!

We will also be returning to MacGregor Orchard this spring, so stay tuned as the peaches ripen, we’ll be ramping up!

We operate out of a DHEC approved kitchen, so we hope to partner with stores, restaurants and breweries. Give a holler if you’re interested.
